Matilda (sic) Jane ADAMS died at the home of her daughter, Mrs Calvin ROSS (Mollie ADAMS), at 147 Harker street, at 4:40 this morning. She wasborn Aug 10, 1839, at Johnstown, Pa., and came to Ohio at the age of 17 years with her parents and made Richland county her home until her death. She was united in marriage to John ADAMS March 20, 1860. To thisunion were born nine children. Her husband and one son preceded her in death. The remaining are: George W ADAMS, Harman J ADAMS, Charles H ADAMS, Joseph F ADAMS, Elmer J ADAMS, Albert F ADAMS, Mrs Mary ROSS, Mrs Harriet STAUFFER all of this city. She was a member of the Mt Bethel Lutheran church of Jackson township. Her husband lived to celebrate their golden wedding anniversary, March 20, 1910. Funeral services Friday afternoon at 1 o'clock at the Mayflower church, conducted by Rev O E Harris. Burial in the Mansfield cemetery.
